Stellar who was born in 1990 is a grand old man by Kaapstad out of a mare named Field Nymph, he is a dark bay and stands approximately 16.2hh.

He is now retired from working under saddle but remains perfectly sound even with his contracted heals and apart from occasionally crib biting he has no other stable vices, in fact he is a pleasure to be with both in the stable and in the paddock.

As Stellar finds moving home such an ordeal we have made the decision that it would be unfair to him if we were to re-home him so he will be seeing out his days here with us at the centre. Some horses find relocation a fun adventure, some need time to take it all in and some find it quite difficult, the Stellar’s of this world find it absolutely traumatising which is why we reached this decision.
