CHARITY LUNCH at FONTWELL PARK RACECOURSE on SUNDAY 24th FEBRUARY 2008 This is your opportunity to support our work here at the Sanctuary whilst at the same time having a fun day out at the races at the super venue of Fontwell Park Racecourse. This will be our second year of running this Charity Lunch which due to the huge success of 2007has already become a recognised annual event in the racing calendar. Why not treat yourself and friends to a superb silver service 3 course lunch in the luxurious centrally heated marquee alongside the parade ring at Sussex’s most picturesque National Hunt Racecourse Fontwell Park. During the lunch Desert Orchid’s jockey Colin Brown will run through the day’s racecard giving you invaluable information as to which horse to back and also conduct an auction of some wonderful items. Feature race of the day being the National Spirit Hurdle which attracts some of the countries top hurdlers. All proceeds from the lunch go to The Racehorse Sanctuary, this our biggest day of the year and we rely so much on it being as successful as last year so please support us on this day if you are able too.
