Fontwell Open Day

On Sunday 26th July Fontwell Park Racecourse very kindly sponsored an open day here at the centre. This was mainly for their members and sponsors but Phil Bell and Beccy Green also opened up the day to our friends and support group members which we thank them for immensely.

The weather was very kind to us and over sixty people came along for a short visit from just 10am till noon. They were treated to hot bacon rolls and coffee whilst watching several of our current horses paraded and two ridden. Those attending were all very generous and two new support group members signed up on the day. This was a very informal event and helped us get an idea of how a larger open day would work.

Over the past three years this charity has built an excellent working relationship with Fontwell Park Racecourse and they have proved to be extremely supportive of our work, we thank them very much for this and hope it will continue for many years to come.
