The Racehorse Sanctuary Quiz Night

This is the second year we have staged this fun evening and we not only had a record turnout consisting of twelve teams competing for the trophy but we also raised a record amount of funds for the centre totalling just over £1,100 which we were thrilled with.

After a very close contest last years winners “The Evergreens” were beaten into joint second place along with “Stepped on Toe and Son” and “Five Horse Power” by newcomers “C.R.A.F.T.S” a local team who really knew their stuff when it came to quiz questions and how to play the joker round.

A big thank you goes to Ben Jones who kindly put together all of the questions and to the committee Paul, Kirstie and Val who worked so hard building up to the event. This has proved to be a very popular annual event and at a push we could squeeze in one or perhaps two more teams next year.
