Fontwell Park Sponsor Charity Open Day

On Sunday 26th July Fontwell Park Racecourse very kindly sponsored an open day here at the centre mainly for their members and sponsors but generously opened to the centre’s support group members as well.

It was a super day and over eighty people came along to visit Belmoredean Stud and meet both the permanent residents and the horses currently here being re-schooled with a view to being re-homed.

This was a shortened version of our normal open days in that visitors arrived at 10am and were greeted with bacon rolls and coffee before watching a couple of horses working under saddle and several paraded in hand.

Those attending were very generous with donations to the charity and all present commented on how they would very much like to see this day added to our annual calendar of events, this I think will be the case.
