Horses at Belmoredean Stud

Bakers Boy
Robbie has come to us straight from training where he simply didn’t make the grade as a racehorse.

He is a 5-y-o chestnut gelding by Typsy Creek out of a super mare who knew called Unparalleled and stands approximately 16.2hh.

Robbie is another who has recently been returned to the centre but this time mainly due to his attitude toward people. His keeper Julia did her very best for him but unfortunately due to her work commitments she had no choice but to rely on other people to deal with him when she was away and Robbie simply did not take to this arrangement and started to terrorise those who attempted to handle him.

Rather like Boysie, Robbie is another who found it difficult to live at Belmoredean Stud hence he is now with Emma and already he is showing small signs of affection toward her both in the stable and in his work which at present is very limited due to a lameness behind. We need to give Robbie plenty of time as he is still a young horse who has a great deal to offer but it cannot happen over night.
